The Roque Foundation is a public foundation that assists women in breaking free from dependency and creating a workspace that aligns with what is reasonably accessible, providing education in self-sustenance. The Roque Foundation inspires and creates meaningful and positive change for our community.

The International Women’s Fest will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 3 PM to 9 PM at Midtown Park in Houston, Texas. 

We encourage all attendees to wear white as a symbol of awakening, unity, and new beginnings. White represents a fresh chapter, a collective spirit, and the celebration of women coming together to uplift and inspire one another. While not mandatory, joining in this shared color creates a powerful visual statement of solidarity throughout the festival.

Yes. Midtown Park meets all traditional accessibility standards required for public parks, including wheelchair-accessible entrances, paved pathways, accessible restrooms, and designated seating areas. Our goal is to ensure all guests can fully enjoy the festival experience.

Midtown Park is located at the corner of McGown and Travis Streets and is easily accessible via METRORail, bicycle, or car. 

Yes! General admission to the festival is free and open to the public. VIP tickets are available for purchase for exclusive seating, refreshments, and networking opportunities. 

(1) VIP ticket is $43.20 (includes service fee) Where you can experience the vibrant energy of Houston at the International Women’s Fest, a celebration of creativity, culture, and women-led entrepreneurship. Enjoy live art demonstrations, culinary tastings, and unique shopping experiences all proudly made or curated by women, right here in the heart of Houston. VIP admission includes access to VIP tent/areas with seating, free food, drinks, and a free gift!  

Your ticket directly funds the International Women’s Festival and fuels its mission year-round. Beyond the one-day celebration, proceeds support ongoing programs that educate, empower, and uplift women through luncheons, skill-building courses, and intimate small-group gatherings. These opportunities help women connect, network, learn, and grow—ultimately inspiring them to step into the best version of themselves while strengthening the community as a whole.

The underground parking garage at 2811 Travis St. offers 400 spaces, is well-lit, and provides 24/7 security. Saturday and Sunday for a $5.00 flat rate (subject to change based on local events).

Street parking is also available nearby in accordance with the City of Houston’s parking regulations and rates.

 Yes, families are welcome! Children must be supervised at all times as this is an open park event. 

Only service animals are permitted on the festival grounds. Four-legged friends will love the Reliant Dog Park, designed with agility features, while visitors can enjoy Bocce Ball and Washers at the social games area. 

Yes! Food vendors will be on-site offering a variety of cuisines. Alcohol will be available for purchase in the VIP area only (must be 21+ with valid ID). 

Absolutely! Expect live music, cultural showcases, art exhibits, panel discussions, and more throughout the day. Check out website for lineup information! 

Picnic blankets are welcome. Lawn chairs are not permitted to ensure everyone can enjoy clear views. 

Coolers, outside food, and beverages are not allowed. Enjoy a wide variety of food and drinks available for purchase from women-owned vendors. 

Yes. Guests are welcome to bring blankets to enjoy the grassy hill overlooking the festival grounds. For a more elevated experience, our VIP ticket holders have access to shaded seating in the VIP tent, complete with enhanced comfort and amenities. 

Yes. By attending, you agree that photos and videos may be taken and used for promotional purposes. 

No. To ensure the safety and comfort of our guests, and to protect the work of our official media team, professional cameras and drones are not permitted. The festival will have its own professional photographers and videographers capturing the event. 

No, smoking and vaping are not allowed in Midtown Park in Houston, according to City of Houston park rules. A city-wide ban on smoking and vaping in public spaces, including parks.

While the entire festival will not be livestreamed, select portions of the programming, such as featured stage moments and exclusive interviews from the Podcast Station, will be available online. We’ll update our channels with details and links once platforms are confirmed.

The International Women’s Fest will take place rain or shine, so please dress accordingly. Stay connected with Facebook notifications for any updates due to inclement weather. 

In the event of severe weather, the International Women’s Festival will be postponed and rescheduled to March 8, 2026. Vendors will be notified immediately of the change and provided with updated event details

 You can nominate an inspiring woman in one of our award categories by filling out the nomination form on www.internationalwomensfest.com before the posted deadline. 

Possession of firearms, guns or weapons of any kind is forbidden in the park. Anyone who fails to comply with this prohibition or who otherwise violates any laws (whether local, state or federal) with respect to firearms of any kind or any other weapon will be immediately removed from the park and may be subject to arrest and prosecution.
